Two weeks after launching Helmholtz Learn as the new e-learning service for Helmholtz offered by the HZDR for HIFIS, we are proud to annouce that the first course has been published today. The Helmholtz Information and Data Science Academy (HIDA) developed a course to support you to acquire skills in AI. As a result of the EU AI Act, organisations like Helmholtz who operate AI tools are instructed to ensure a sufficient level of AI competence among their employees. With this course, HIDA takes an important step towards fulfilling these requirements for Helmholtz. You will learn, for example, how to handle data safely using AI, how to critically review AI results, and how to take relevant guidelines into account while using AI. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate for your personal certificate portfolio.
