Vote for the services you want to see in Helmholtz Cloud!
Our service idea board includes all Helmholtz Cloud service ideas that were yet reported to be required. Since the board was recently transferred from Mattermost Boards to Helmholtz Codebase, we gained a new powerful functionality we would like to inform you about: Now you can vote for your favorite future Helmholtz Cloud services!
Each service idea is represented by an issue in the corresponding project in Helmholtz Codebase.
You can scroll through all services ideas we have yet collected in the issue list or view them as a board. When having a look at the labels, each service idea has a priority label and a status label. The priority is defined by the number of requests we have yet received for the service idea. The status shows whether a service idea is requested, a service provider has already been found or whether we are still looking for potential service providers. You can also have a look at the service ideas that have already been developed to a Helmholtz Cloud service, thus having the status label “done”.
Having a look at the details of each service idea you can see a table which displays the information collected about the service idea e.g. if a distinct software is desired, which features the service should offer and a reference to the request (if received via ticket system). At the bottom of the screenshot you can see the “thumbs up”/”thumbs down” symbols which we ask you to use to state how required the service is from your point of view!
It is of course also possible to add comments to each issue and give your input on new service ideas - please use the Additional service ideas issue to add your ideas as a comment. The ideas will be reviewed by HIFIS Service Portfolio Management and added as individual service ideas, if not already existing.
Please note that the voting functionality is only available for Helmholtz employees (with a Helmholtz mail address).
