If you need a Group in Helmholtz ID (Virtual Organisation - VO) to organize collaboration and access Helmholtz Cloud Services, you can now request one directly through the Helmholtz Cloud.
The VO application process itself stays the same: the structured form introduced in 2025 continues to collect and validate the information needed to process requests efficiently. What changes is where you find it: Instead of going to the separate service (Plony), you can now request a VO directly through Helmholtz Cloud — the same place where you discover the services your VO gives you access to. This is one step toward bringing Helmholtz Cloud processes together in one central place.
